Watering System

with Humidity Sensors

For this watering system we designed production-ready housing. It has sensors that measure the moisture of the soil and can therefore release exactly the right amount of water required. This way, water can be saved in sustainable and automated fashion, especially in areas where water is scarce.

The housing contains the electronics, a valve, a battery and a solar module. Because it is used close to ground-level and outdoors, we had to arrange it particularly sturdy and waterproof according to IP 67. The water-bearing parts also had to be mounted very watertight into the housing so that the electronics cannot be damaged.
